New collection brings together interactive games, crosswords, Spanish vocabulary, history, music, and cultural learning resources for Hispanic Heritage Month.
COLUMBUS, OH, UNITED STATES, September 12, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Rudolph Academy has launched a new Hispanic Heritage Month Activities collection designed to give teachers, students, homeschooling families, and lifelong learners a central place to explore Hispanic history, culture, language, literature, music, and notable people.
National Hispanic Heritage Month is observed each year from September 15 through October 15. The observance recognizes the histories, cultures, achievements, and contributions of Americans whose heritage is connected to Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. September 15 was selected in part because it marks the independence anniversary of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua, followed by Mexico on September 16 and Chile on September 18.
The new Hispanic Heritage Month Activities hub brings a wide range of Rudolph Academy resources together on one page rather than requiring educators and learners to search across individual subject areas.
The collection is anchored by the interactive Hispanic Heritage Game, which provides an engaging way for learners to build and test their knowledge of Hispanic heritage, history, people, and culture.
The collection also includes Hispanic Heritage crossword puzzles focused on famous Hispanic actors and actresses, musicians, sports stars, Latin pop songs, Selena Quintanilla, and César Chávez, along with an Esperanza Rising literature crossword activity.
Language-learning resources form another major part of the collection. Rudolph Academy Spanish activities include interactive vocabulary games covering general Spanish vocabulary, school vocabulary, travel vocabulary, food vocabulary, verbs, and intermediate Spanish, along with Learn Spanish and Spanish-to-English crossword puzzles.
The history section extends the collection beyond language study with educational games covering the History of Spain, Madrid, Barcelona, History of Mexico, and Mexico City.
Students can also explore major civilizations and historical developments through games covering the Maya, Aztec, and Inca civilizations; the Spanish conquests of the Aztecs and Incas; the Columbian Exchange; and the Mexican-American War.
By combining these resources into one seasonal hub, Rudolph Academy aims to make it easier for educators to incorporate Hispanic heritage into lessons across multiple subjects rather than treating it as a single isolated topic.
